TiN-coated (Titan-Nitrid):
Titanium nitride coating is applied by a reactive ionization of vaporized “target” titanium at about 500 °C.
The hardness is about 2.300 HV.
The surface roughness is reduced and enables in combination with the extreme hardness very good “slip” properties and a high wear resistance as well as a higher tool life.
